PRESS RELEASE
BRANTLY
INTERNATIONAL WILL HOST
INSPECTION TEAM FROM CHINESE
EQUIVALENT OF FAA
Continuing
the world-wide marketing for their B-2B
helicopter, Brantly International, Inc. of Vernon,
TX, will be hosting a team from the General
Administration of Civil Aviation of China for two
weeks. The General Administration of Civil
Aviation of China is the equivalent of our
Federal Aviation Administration. The five-person
team from the Aircraft Airworthiness Department,
headed by Mr. Feng Jiashu, Deputy Director
General, will be validating the Type Certificate
for the B-2B's use in the Chinese civil aviation
market.
This is a normal procedure which must be
accomplished for every country in which an
aircraft is sold. The inspection will be an
exhaustive inspection and research of the B-2B's
design and safety of flight record along with an
in-depth inspection and review of Brantly
International's manufacturing procedures and
quality control. The B-2B's Type Certificate has
previously been validated in England and
Australia.
Mr. Cy Russum, Vice President of Brantly
International, Inc. said he is very confident
Brantly will do well in the validation inspection.
He cited the company's outstanding results on
their biannual FAA manufacturer's inspection in
mid July of this year. The FAA's inspection
result was one of the best inspections the
company has ever had. Russum is also encouraged
that the recent addition of two new, state-of-the-art
CNC (computer numeric control) machines to the
machine shop will further demonstrate Brantly
International's commitment to manufacturing a
quality aircraft.
The Chinese inspection team will arrive Friday,
October 23 and return to China November 9.
Brantly International will host a lunch along
with local officials for the five-member team,
Tuesday, October 27 at Hillcrest Country club.
The Chinese team will arrive Friday, October 23
and after conducting their required inspection
depart November 9.
